Madulsima Plantations PLC comprises of 12 Tea Estates spanning over an extent of 7,000 Hects., located in Sri Lanka’s most fertile Tea growing areas in Uva’s Madulsima region and Bogowantalawa in the Central Province, the latter further recognized by its proximity to the Country’s hydro-catchments and the revered Adam’s Peak mountain.

With eight estates in Madulsima, an area renowned for its unique and highly desired seasonal flavors, and a cluster of four estates in Bogawantalawa, widely thought of as growing the best Western High Grown tea in the country; Madulsima Plantations’ principal activity remains in the cultivation of tea and, as such, utilizes 3,821 hectares of land for this purpose while the annual production is in excess of 5.5 million kg. During 2008 various grades of teas obtained all island top prices on 72 occasions at public auctions befitting our status as a world class tea company. The quality of our tea is further distinguished by ownership of the famous Kew, Kirkoswald and Mahadowa tea Estates, as well as ISO 9001:2000 certifications for Kew, Kirkoswald, Venture & Theresia Estates.
